Since I have a newborn who likes to stay up at night, and a husband who can't leave the house right now I've been watching A TON of t.v. This may also have a lot to do with the caffeine I've been drinking, but anywho I've come to a couple of conclusions about some of my t.v. shows lately.
1) I LOVE the new show "The Talk" on CBS with Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, Holly Robinson-Peete, and Marissa Jaret Winokur. It's like "The View" but only better cause there are no annoying Elizabeth Hasselhoff's and it's about Mom's! FYI- CBS is not paying me to promote their new show, but seriously I love it. How do you think I could get them to pay me for this? Cause, I would talk about it everyday if they did. I think the show is great!
2) I'm HATING the Cristina Yang story line in "Grey's Anatomy" with a passion. It's really getting on my nerves. A LOT. This is when the DVR fast forward comes in handy. What would I do without a DVR??
3) Is anyone watching the new HBO series "Boardwalk Empire"? I'm torn on this one. I want to like it, but it's confusing. I barely know what the hell is going on and who the characters are.
PS- I went for my 6 week follow-up appointment and I've been cleared for everything. Which is good since I didn't really follow anything she told me to do/not do. Also, I was put back on a glucophage for my insulin resistance. This is bad because it upsets my stomach.......whhhiiiicccchhh could be GOOD, riiiggghhhght???
PPS- That reminds me, one time when I was in college a friend of mine lost a ton of weight when she got mono, and I wished I got it too so I could lose weight. This was obviously a stupid thought since I only weighed 112 lbs. at the time. I'm not saying that I want mono right now, but what about a good 48 hour flu or something minor like that? (TOTALLY KIDDING! sort of)

oh you make me laugh so hard. I get to work from home on Thursday so I will watch this CBS show you speak of. But I do have to say that Elizabeth and Barbara are my two favorite on the view.
I also hate the christina story line on greys - so annoying.
We couldn't get into Boardwalk Empire either; so wanted to but didn't work out.
Most of my tv time is turned into internet time, which shows you why I'm always on the computer. :)
That show The Talk, LURVE IT!!! I really like that they aren't annoying like the ladies on The View. As far as the weight...I pray for a tapeworm on a daily basis. I totally understand what you are talking about. You feel out of sorts when you have a baby but your body will start to figure things out soon enough. LIOB!

I tried to get into Boardwalk Empire too, it's just not as exciting as I thought it would be, come on gangsters and prohibition, where is all the action?? Dave is still watching it but he is not sure why, he is hoping it will get good. I don't watch any of the other shows you mentioned though.
I too watched a ton of tv when Ty was that little. I loved having Netflix, I think when Ty was that little it was before dvr's were around...
